William "Bill" Petrie

1935-2022

Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Bill lived a life that was nothing short of exceptional. He will be remembered for his love for family, storytelling, and travel. His relentless drive and audacious pursuit of his vision lead to the establishment of Petrie Auto Supply in 1975 where he remained a dominant presence well after his retirement. From humble beginnings selling car bumpers out of his garage, Bill witnessed his business transform into a national force in the truck parts industry with his son Dean by his side. Bill’s legacy lives on through his many children and grandchildren while he rests peacefully with his beloved Trisha.
